Welcome to the IPM Council of Canada's Members' Area
There have been many questions about the level of IPM Accreditation required by April 22, 2012 to be in compliance with O. Reg. 63/09. Due to logistical issues in completing on-site audits for all eligible golf courses to achieve Level 2 Accreditation, the ministry will consider golf courses that have achieved at least Level 1 Accreditation by April 22, 2012 to be in compliance with section 18(2) of O. Reg. 63/09 for the 2012 season, if the following conditions are met:
-
Membership with the IPM Council of Canada is in good standing;
-
Requirements for IPM Accreditation continue to be met in order to achieve Level 2 Accreditation by 2013.
The ministry recognizes Level 2 Accreditation, under the IPM Council of Canada's IPM Accreditation Program for Golf Courses, to be in compliance with accreditation requirements.
2011 Desk Reviews
FINAL DATE FOR SUBMITTING 2011 DESK REVIEW MATERIAL IS JUNE 30, 2012.
2011 desk review materials will not be accepted after this date. This also means that access to the 2011 area of My IPM for uploading or editing 2011 desk review forms will be unavailable after that date.
If you have completed uploading your 2011 desk review, you must contact ipmap@ridgetownc.uoguelph.ca to let them know it is ready for audit.
The deadline for submitting desk review materials for the 2011 season was Jan. 31, 2012. A late charge of $150 + HST ($169.50) will be assessed for any desk reviews submitted after that date.
We recognize that some golf courses do not have access to high-speed internet, so a limited number of paper desk reviews will be accepted. However, additional handling fees are charged to the IPM Council for paper desk reviews. As a not-for-profit association, these costs must be passed on to the golf course submitting a paper desk review. A fee of $150 + HST ($169.50) must be paid to the IPM Council of Canada before a paper desk review can be forwarded for audit.
If you are submitting your desk review in paper form, DO NOT SEND ORIGINALS. The IPM Council, Ridgetown and the auditors are not responsible for returning any forms to the golf course. Also, all photocopies should be consistently printed either one-sided or two-sided, not a combination of both. Please do not staple any forms, instead use paper clips or bull clips to separate forms by type in chronological order. i.e. all Scouting forms together in order by date, all PCP Application forms bundled in order by date, etc. The auditors have requested the maps be no larger than standard stationary size (8.5"X11")
Remember: If you submit a paper desk review, O.Reg. 63/09 still requires you to upload your Annual Report - Pest Control Product Usage and associated map(s) to the My IPM section of this website.
Please contact: ipmap@ridgetownc.uoguelph.ca with any further questions about submitting 2011 desk reviews for audit.
